All DLC Content
New additions to the DLC Content roster include 2 New Subquests which features Konohana Sakuya and Dagda as bosses that can be recruited after a victorious battle!
There also are the Mitama DLCs, which you have to re-purchase again if you purchased it for the base game. These DLCs increase the spawn rate of all Mitama demons, helping the protagonist garner more EXP, Macca, and Glory.

New Storyline
Apart from the base game's narrative, Canon of Creation. A new and totally unique storyline has been added, called the Canon of Vengeance, centering around Lilith and Qadistu.
This storyline can be chosen shortly after beginning the game, allowing the player to decide which path they want to take.

New Characters
Along with the additional storyline, new characters are also introduced in Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance. This includes Yoko Hiromine, a mysterious girl that the protagonist will meet during their adventure in Da'at.
There will also be a new group the main character will encounter called the Qadistu, featuring 4 female members: Lilith, Naamah, Eisheth Zenunium, and Agrat bat Mahlat.
Over 40 New Demons Added
While it hasn't been confirmed which demons will be added to Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance, ATLUS has confirmed that there will be over 40 new demons added to the compendium!

New Da'at and Dungeon
A world exclusive to the Canon of Vengeance storyline has been added. Explore Shinjuku Ward and witness the beautiful cityscapes and environment.
A dungeon for Shinjuku has also been added. Venture into the dungeon of Shakan and explore its large and mysterious territory.
Save Data Bonuses
If you have played the base game before and have existing save data, you can make use of it in Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance, and receive bonuses.
These bonuses include carrying data for up to 3 demons that you had in the base game, as well as other unspecified bonuses.

Innate Skills
Innate Skills are passive skills unique to each demon and can produce synergy depending on other demons in the party.

Special Magatsuhi Skills are activated when certain demons work together. Skills range from attacks, to healing, and support.

Magatsuhi Demon
Formidable opponents, glowing with a red aura, who will randomly appear as you explore the netherworld. Collect Incense as you defeat these demons.
Magatsuhi Demon Feature Explained
Level Cap Increased to 150
From Level 99, players can enjoy an increase to their levels up to 150! With new demons and bosses added, grinding will be more fun and exciting.
Exclusive to the Godborn Difficulty
If you want to increase the level cap to 150, you will need to be playing on the Godborn difficulty. You can only play on this difficulty if you've beaten the secret superboss in a Canon of Vengeance playthrough.
Virtual Trainer
Bonus Challenge content that allows you to battle Bosses you encountered during the game. Level up until Level 999!
Guest Characters
In certain quests, guest characters can now help you in battle, allowing you to add human characters to your party. You can use them to attack or even use items, similar to how you would control a demon during combat.
Demi Fiend Joining the Party
If certain conditions are met, the Demi-Fiend, King of Chaos will join you as a guest character.

Demon Haunts
You can now also interact with your demons, human allies, and Aogami through conversation and giving them gifts in new relaxation spots.

New variants in demon conversations have been added, including quizzes and the option to let them escape with gifts during negotiations.

Mercy Has Also Been Adjusted
Along with the new demon interactions, Demons will now beg for Mercy more often during battle.
Fewer Flying Demon Encounters
Attacks from flying demons have been fixed so that every encounter must be within the current frame.
First Strike Adjustments
Fixed so that even when detected by the enemy, you can still initiate a First Strike when attacking them from behind.
Variety of Subquests
Additional Subquests have been added. New features such as controlling demons, or time-sensitive subquests are some of the examples.
Level Difference Adjustments
The damage adjustment by level difference was changed to be more moderate compared to the base game. Depending on tactics, it has been made easier to defeat stronger opponents.
Auto-Skill
A new tweak to Auto-Battle has also been teased, which separates Auto-Battle into Auto-Attack and Auto-Skill. The former has the party using normal attacks, while the latter makes them target enemy weaknesses.
Estoma Field
Changed the specifications of Estoma, a skill to avoid enemy encounters. It is no longer affected by the new moon and consumes Magatsuhi instead of MP. It can be turned on/off at any time after obtaining it.
Recommended Levels for Subquests
Recommended levels of subquests can now be found within the quest list.
Batch Use of Growth Items
Status-enhancing items and other items can now be used all at once instead of individually.
New Game Plus Difficulty: Godborn
Godborn is a new difficulty unlocked after finishing the game once. When activated, the level of all enemy demons is raised to 150 and Incense can be purchased with Macca.
Quality of Life Improvements in Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance
Magatsu Rails
Magatsu Rails are new interactive spots you can encounter in the netherworld to access new areas. Accessing these new areas allow you to encounter new demons and find rare items!
Addition of Stats Reset Item
The item, New Testament Tablet, enables the protagonist to reshuffle their parameters.
Dyad Compendium Fusion
This type of fusion allows you to combine a demon in your possession with a demon in the compendium.
Expansion on Fusion Accidents
Added demons that can only be created during Fusion Accidents.
Aogami Husks
An Aogami-type Essence can be found in Aogami Husks scattered throughout the netherworld.
Abscess Obstruction Removed
Abscesses no longer hide some parts of the map and you won't have to destroy them anymore.

Expanded the Obtainable Range of Relics
Obtainable range of relics has been extended twice its regular range, allowing you to gain more relics from the range of available relics.

The in-game map has now also been color-coded to display differences in heights and other elevations.
Additional Quest Navigators
The number of quest navigation demons that can join you has been expanded from 6 to 17.

Miracles ON/OFF Function
Miracles can now be toggled on and off, allowing you to choose which Miracles to activate during combat or world navigation.

Destination Indication to Subquests
Quest destinations can now be viewed by displaying a map from a list.
Graphics Options
New options will be available for changing brightness, contrast, and other graphical selections.
Double Speed for Skills
You can now speed up by skill cutscenes by 2x.
Character Essence Information
You can now see on-screen whether you have the essence of certain demons.
Essence Screen Enhancements
The ability to search for Essences by the skills you want is now available. Additionally, a mark has been added to an Essence that can be purchased in the store.
Enhanced Sorting
Enhanced sorting functions, such as sorting by purchasable Essences, by reverse fusion, by ingredients, and other means.
Receiving Gifts or Learning Skills via Fusion
Receiving gifts or learning skills that are normally obtained when leveling up, can now be available during fusion level up as well.
Compendium Enhancements
Demon Compendium data can be Original or Custom. Comparative display between custom data and original data is also now possible.
Sky View
Sky View has also been added, allowing you to look around the surroundings from above.
Landmark Function
You can now also use the Landmark Function, a new feature that allows you to place markers at desired locations.
Transmission of Obstacles
You can now see through obstacles, preventing 3D sickness.
ON/OFF Function for Map Icons
All map icons can now be toggled on and off, allowing you to see the map clearly when navigating the netherworld.
Minimap Rotation
Instead of the map being fixed in a certain direction, you can now rotate it for easier navigation.
Improved Experience Items
The level-up process, which used to take place after the battle, has been changed so that it takes place immediately after the use of experience items.
Save Anywhere
Forget Founts, you can now save anywhere. This new addition surely makes the game more accessible especially when played with the highest difficulty.
It is not confirmed, however, if you can save during battles or even when choosing crucial dialogue options.
