Soup Maker ChickenSoup

What do you think of when you think of chicken soup? For me it is those cans of Heinz Chicken Soup and how my grandparents always had a spare can of cream of chicken soup in their pantry.

As a child I thought those cansof chicken soup were delicious. But growing up you soon realise how much nicerit is to make your own cream of chicken soup and how much cheaper it is too.

Recently the local English supermarkethad a sale on Heinz Soups and Heinz Baked Beans. They were down to 75 cents acan and I am like I wouldn’t pay 40 cents for them and that is the sale price?

Plus, since first discoveringPaleo and the Whole30 in 2015, you realise just how bad those overpriced cansare on your health.

That is why today, I wanted to show you how to make your own cream of chicken soup in the soup maker.

A little prep, dump theingredients into the soup maker and you are all set!

DifferentSized Soup Makers

This soup maker chicken soup is made with our Morphy Richards Soup Maker. It is rather small compared to some soup makers.

If you have a bigger soup maker such as the Ninja Soup Maker or the Cuisinart Soup Maker, you can double the recipe ingredients and easily make enough for four people.

Or even better, cook our soup maker chicken soup in the instant pot and make a HUGE batch.

For those that do have small soup makers, I follow a quick rule when loading up the soup maker.

Fit in as much as you can and dice it small. Then cook as much as you can. Any liquid added after cooking can go over your max level.

I used one chicken breast as I had lots of vegetables to use up. But you could use less vegetables and use 2 chicken breasts instead.

You can use any yoghurt at the end. I like fat free Greek yoghurt the most, though it is about personal preference.
