Do Max and Fang end up together? ›

Fang left Max again, however, in Maximum Ride Forever, not realizing that she was pregnant at the time. They end up together in the end after he "dies" but is brought back to life by Dylan when Max tells him she's pregnet with his child.

This science-fiction adventure is the first book in the ” Maximum Ride” series by James Patterson and is published by Little, Brown and Company, in conjunction with Time Warner Book Group. The Angel Experiment is written for kids ages 12 and up.

Max gives birth to her daughter Phoenix underground. The Flock, now much larger, flies to Peru to live among the ruins there. Max begins writing down the history of what happened. The story ends with the Flock teaching Phoenix to fly.

Ari had a strong (but reluctant) admiration for Max, even going so far as to come up with a plan to steal Max away so she could play with him. However his wolfish-seven-year-old self showed through when he added that he planned to cut off her wings.

Valencia Martinez, and thus the half-sister of Jeb's son Ari and Dr. Martinez's daughter Ella. A love triangle develops between Max, Fang, and Dylan, who was designed to be Max's "perfect other half". In Maximum Ride Forever, the teenaged Max gives birth to Phoenix, her daughter with Fang.

A few months later, during the final confrontation with the Remedy, Max reveals her pregnancy. Max gives birth to a daughter she names Phoenix in the underground bunker of Himmel during a nuclear winter.

The actual story line first revolves around saving the youngest flock member, Angel, from the diabolical scientists at the School, a perverted research facility that creates mutants. The flock is a group of winged children who escaped the School. It consists of Angel, the Gasman, Nudge, Iggy, Fang, and the leader Max.

Maximum "Max" Ride is 14 years old in the first five books; in the sixth book, she turns 15.

Fang is 14 years old (15 in Fang: A Maximum Ride Novel), though this may not be entirely accurate as it is suggested in "Nevermore" and "Maximum Ride Forever" that multiple years have passed, even before the epilog, which clearly states that multiple years have passed since the ending of the last chapter.

She also insisted numerous times that she wanted to lead the Flock, and there were occasional hints that she would turn evil. However, when she appeared to switch sides in the third book, it was revealed to be a plan which she and Max had come up with in case the worst ever happened.

Why is Iggy blind in Maximum Ride? ›

Iggy (real name James Griffiths) is a half human-half avian around the same age as Max and Fang. He is blind because of the whitecoats' failed attempt to improve his night-vision. He is also the third oldest member of the Flock and is considered one of the main characters in the series, as he appears in every book.

Max and Dylan are dating, but when she and Fang reconcile, Dylan goes on a jealous rampage. After that, Max no longer wants to see Dylan. She and the rest of the Flock travel to Paradise, only for the world to be struck by numerous catastrophes known as the Apocalypse.

The Gasman is the second-youngest of the original Flock members and supposedly around 8. He earned his name from the fact that he frequently passes gas, although he is often called Gazzy or Gaz instead.

Maximum Ride is a story about six kids: Max, 14. Fang, 14. Iggy, 14. Nudge, 11.

Fang is second-in-command of the flock, and is Max's best friend (he later becomes her boyfriend).

They stop on a dock and talk about their relationship. Both have trouble admitting their feelings. Fang kisses Max and she takes off. Max doesn't get much sleep while she tries to deal with her emotions.

Max and Fang are coming of age throughout this story, and although they are best friends, they experience moments of tenderness. Fang kisses Max's forehead and smoothes her hair in an effort to reassure her that she won't turn evil.
